Surrealism was and always will be a genre that I find very satisfying to my creative needs. "Space Ensemble" is a classic example of giving birth to ideas that are constantly floating through my mind. The very process of making something appear logical and real that is not so, to me is a magical process. This painting is an exploration of texture and perspective luring the minds eye into places that in essence do not exist and you may have thought that virtual reality was something new. Artists were morphing one object into another long before the computer was ever thought of and are still the authors of many of the virtual experiences that we all enjoy. "Space Ensemble" may not be animated but it can still take you on a trip into the realm of imagination, enjoy!
