There are times in my life as in all people’s lives when I want to do something purely for the fun and beauty of the experience. “Rapid Cherries” features cherries cascading down a rapid moving water source. If you like the image you probably like it for the same reasons I do it’s fun colourful and definitely has movement. Movement is probably one of the aspects that I find interesting about the piece it is not a still life. I could have painted or drawn a bowl of cherries but they would not have had the same impact and this aspect of creating imagery is extremely important to me, life is not static why should art be.
