“I Opener” is the second in a series of six pictures that will eventually be produced for a series entitled “I Don’t Know”. I will be examining the five senses and their effects on the creative process in our daily lives.

Our eyes are the keys to our selves; sight is an “I” opening experience. Not only do our eyes reveal to us our physical appearance when we gaze into a mirror, they play a major roll in how we comprehend any given life situation. Others are judged partly by their appearance. Sight enables us to see things not just in physical form, visual stimulation greatly effects our emotions, which are often be it right or wrong, largely responsible for the decisions we make. The way we conduct ourselves in daily life is what determines whom we are the “I” that lays within us all.
