On a personal level I have always had a habit of hesitating, due to a paranoia of the unknown. Everyone I would imagine suffers from this at one time or another in their lives. Great Blue Herons for all we know could be victims of the same phenomena. Our success as a species along with our achievements as individuals largely depends on our ability to make rational decisions. Half the battle is won when we gain the ability to blend in with our surroundings and observe. We must keep our minds still yet absorbent of the facts that give us greater clarity when we make our decision to act “Still Wading” if you will. Bad, sometimes fatal decisions are made when we fail to keep our tranquil minds, becoming uneasy instead of waiting until the full story unfolds. We make rash decisions, we later regret. “Still Wading” is an illustration of patience and calm before action is taken.
